How Much Will it Cost?

The cost of living in La Grange is substantially higher than the state average, and also higher than the national average. However, if you enjoy pizza, it will come as good news that the cost of pizza in La Grange is far lower than that of the national average price of pizza. Oh, so that's not enough to convince you? No problem. Read on!

When to Begin Looking

You should allow at least four to six weeks to relocate to an apartment or rental home in La Grange. There's relatively high demand for housing, so come prepared to place a deposit on your dream rental to avoid it slipping away from your grasp.

What You Need

It's wise to have the typical renter's arsenal at your disposal when you're hunting around in the area. Prospective tenants should be able to provide references, proof of income, as well as a deposit to be in a strong position to seal the deal with landlords who can be somewhat choosy in this relatively high-demand market.

La Grange Neighborhoods

There is a decent choice of rentals available in La Grange, both large and small, so it's merely a matter of searching to find the place that appeals to you most. Nevertheless, as mentioned, don't be tempted to rest on your laurels for long when you do find a place. Instead, grasp it firmly with both hands and pop down the required deposit!

West Calendar Ave: There is an array of one-bedroom apartments for rent at West Calendar Ave. What makes it a particularly sought-after part of the area are the local amenities within easy walking distance. Just a few steps from the vicinity, you'll find dozens of restaurants, a bank, a couple of gas stations, and a few grocery stores. Talk about being spoiled for choice! Palmer Place and Prasino are just a few of your options here.

S La Grange Road: Offering studio apartments for rent, S La Grange Road is centrally located, affording a choice of restaurants, banks, as stations, and grocery stores, all within walking distance!

Ashland: Ashland provides for a good choice of spacious rental apartments - anything from one bedroom through to three bedroom. Local amenities are attractive too, with restaurants and shopping just a hop-skip-and-jump from the apartments.

80th Pl and Bielby Ave: if you're set on checking out some rental houses in La Grange, be sure to have a look at 80th Pl and Bielby Ave. Access to local amenities can be had if you enjoy a lengthy stroll or a quick dash out in the car.

South 6th Ave: Perhaps your prefect home for rent is to be found on South 6th Ave. In this part of La Grange, there's a decent choice available to prospective home renters. Local amenities within easy walking distance include a grocery store and several restaurants. Nickson's Eater is in this area.

For a more energetic option, basketball courts are open daily, servicing those who have a desire to shoot some hoops. For the foodies, it's time to consider a few of the local restaurants. Luca Pizzeria Incorporated Restaurant, on W Burlington Ave., provides top-class pizza with a service level to match! Blueberry Hill on S La Grange Road works around breakfast and brunch times, serving an array of American-style cuisines. The establishment gained a service of excellence award in 2013 so there's no doubt at all that this place is indeed, as the award would suggest, excellent!
