The location has the unique benefit of being close to the beach and within only a few miles of the bustling center of activities for the southern part of the island of Oahu and equally adjacent to undeveloped natural Hawaii. You can hang ten in the morning and hang out in a hammock for the most stunning sunsets in the Pacific.

The island-living paradise lifestyle is (not shockingly) the kind of life just about anybody would be ready to sign up for if it were that easy. The neighborhoods of Royal Kunia are determined by their geographic location, focusing on the Southwest, Northeast, and Northern parts of the area. Here's a breakdown of what you can find in each part.

Southwest: Southwest Royal Kunia can be described as all the area to the west of Hoaeae Community Park. The park makes up the middle of the largest portion of residential properties in Royal Kunia. This area has fewer homes than the rest of the city, and the houses that are gathered together are island-inspired, modern homes with two-car covered driveways, well-manicured gardens and palm trees and low stone walls. Along the western edge, lining Kunia Road, is the closest shopping area in the neighborhood.

Northeast: Northeast Royal Kunia butts against the famous golf course at the Royal Kunia Country Club. Aside from the priceless views, this could feel like any neighborhood in modern America. If you're missing a little bit of the back-home familiarity but wish it could be in a better location, your dreams have come true. The roads are relatively quiet and laid out in a distinct cul-de-sac setup. If you can find a vacancy here, it may be the exact balance of peace and comfort you've been hoping for.

Northern: Across a large expanse of undeveloped property, northern Royal Kunia sits largely unaffected by the other neighborhoods. As its own private oasis of tranquility, with mostly two-story homes on larger than average lots, there is a secluded feel to the neighborhood here. This is the true Hawaii, away from the tourists, nightclubs and hotels; the nature of the island makes itself known in magnificent fashion.

Living in Royal Kunia

Hawaii has been the distant land of sun and sand and the elusive good life we all look for since before it was incorporated as a state in 1959. It still remains an unrealized dream for many. The area known as Royal Kunia, and sometimes known as Village Park, is an ideally located waterside community on the southern tip of Oahu. The world-famous Royal Kunia Country Club and Golf Course is located to the northeast, attracting enthusiasts from around the globe to enjoy some of the most picturesque greens available and try the legendary 600-ft. ninth hole. Only a few miles from Pearl Harbor and the city of Pearl, the area is loaded with history, filled with entertainment and surrounded by vistas that all appear as though they were created specifically as backdrops for Hollywood blockbusters.
