They state, "Our grassroots panel initially formed as the Concerned Citizens of Klahanie around the topic of King County's Klahanie Park. The county was looking to divest itself of the 64-acre 'crown jewel' of Klahanie, and we wanted to make sure it was done so in a way that would maintain the Klahanie living experience and insure the community's long-term political future."
Though Klahanie doesn't have an abundance of restaurants, eager eaters should note that the surrounding cities offer plentiful dining options.
