If you want a Midwestern city with lots of charm, Holmen is your place. Not only does it have the annual Korn Festival, it also has great parks, like Deerwood Park, a lovely pool, called the Holmen Village Pool, and its own selection of world-class outlet shopping. If you're looking for an enjoyable suburban living experience, this is a great place for you. However, if you're craving more excitement, you can hop in your car and head to La Crosse, just 20 minutes south. In La Crosse, there is a lot to do, like Riverside Amusement Park and the annual Applefest.
