Midland is a small community of 8,962 people located just outside of Tacoma, Washington. This Pacific Northwest town is basically considered a suburb or neighborhood of Tacoma. It only covers three miles on the map but it does have its own distinct characteristics! It is located close to Washington's Puget Sound, just about 40 miles southwest of Seattle and also not far from Olympia. Mount Rainier National Park is only about an hour away, too!
