City Guide for Duvall, WA

Fun is the name of the game in Duvall, with numerous outdoor events like the Movies in the Park in August, the Easter egg hunt in April, and the annual pancake breakfast.

Duvall is located on what was once the land of the Tulalip Native American tribes. The area was settled in the late 1800s by veterans of the Civil War. Duvall was incorporated as a town in Washington state in 1913. Despite being a small town, Duvall received nationwide press in 1968 when a piano was dropped from the sky by a helicopter during a rock concert. Later known as the Piano Drop, this incident inspired many events and festivals that still occur in Duvall today. Currently, Duvall has a population estimated at 7,000. Due to the population growth and in an effort to encourage tourists to visit the area, Duvall has invested a great deal of money in improving the town's infrastructure. See more

What to keep in mind when looking for studio apartments in Duvall, WA

Studio apartments could offer the best of Duvall living at a less expensive price tag than larger units. Look for the best buildings near entertainment, dining, and public transportation or highway access.

Ask about the square footage of studio apartments in Duvall during your tour. Even a little extra space in another building can offer more room for storage or an additional chair. Consider the layout and what you can accomplish before you sign. You should have enough room for your bed, a small sitting area, and a dining table. You can always get creative and loft your bed to save on space underneath or install a fold-down table or desk that tucks away.
