Neighborhoods of West Point

The south side of West Point is more rural than the north, with several large farms dotting the landscape below West 300 Street. This is also where some of the larger houses in West Point have been built. North of West 300 Street, the town is far more suburban and dense. There are also some scattered farms on the north side, but all in all the neighborhood is more about big, shared yards, cul-de-sacs, and community centers.

Life in West Point

The nearest shops, restaurants, and urban amenities are just east of the neighborhood in the town of Syracuse, including the Syracuse Cinema and the Trolley Wing Neighborhood Sports Bar and Grill. Schneiter's Bluff Golf Course is on the border between the two halves of West Point, while large, manicured green spaces like Loy Blake Park make the north side look and feel especially lush.

West Point is great for its proximity to the lake and it's ideal for those who like to have a little more room to stretch out. It has easy access to the true woods of Antelope Island State Park and it's just off Highway 15 for those who don't mind a day trip to Ogden or SLC.
