Even though Whitehouse was founded as far back as 1845, it was not actually incorporated into a city until 1953 -- the city may even be younger than you! The main industry during that period was farming and agriculture with crops of cotton, peach orchards, tomatoes, watermelons and a variety of vegetables. Current day Whitehouse is a city of 7,913 residents who happily celebrate the town's history with an event lovingly called the Annual YesterYear Celebration.
