These include Cotton Park, Clay County Park and Cotton Park feature places to fish from shore and try for the big one. The area is proud of its history and celebrate it all kinds of ways. Spirit Mound is home to the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail. On August 24, 1804, they camped at the mouth of the Vermillion River and you can reenact their trek to Spirit Mound.
