Twinsburg, Ohio, is best known for being the home of the international celebration of divided fertilized eggs, the Twins Day Festival. The products of split zygotes from around the world gather in Twinsburg every summer to celebrate their uniqueness. The town was named Twinsburg on the request of a set of twin brothers who lived there when it was first founded. They gave up some of their land in exchange for the town's name. The heart of the city is its historic town square, featuring a memorial structure dedicated to residents who lost their lives in the Civil War.
