If you need a two bedroom apartment rental, check out Heritage Apartments on Southland Parkway. Their two bedrooms will run you from $490 to $510 a month with security deposits ranging from $200 to $500. These are not pet-friendly apartments.
If you’re looking for pet friendly apartments for rent, or more specifically, a place with dogs allowed, check out the Mallard Landing Apartments. They allow small and large dogs. Rents here are pretty reasonable, but be prepared to pay an extra deposit for the dog. Hey, pet-friendly only goes so far.
Mallard Landing also offers furnished apartments for rent, in their Corporate Apartment program. Here, you can sign up for a long or short term lease.
If you’re planning on staying for the long haul, downtown living might be fun in Marion. You can walk to New Beginnings for a yummy breakfast, or catch a quick drink (or two, or three) after work at Shovel Sports without having to worry about driving home. Downtown lofts, like the ones in the old Huber Building, are typically larger and more open than apartments.
Finding studio apartments for rent in Marion may be a challenge. An alternative route could be scouring the local classifieds for "rooms for rent" advertised by local homeowners, or just driving around in search of FOR RENT signs. There are more than a handful of converted older homes that rent rooms, some of them even furnished.
