The bedroom has a King bed, work desk, and large walk-in closet. The living room sofa converts to a Queen bed. The kitchen is superbly equipped with top class appliances and tools, and there is a large dining table. There is a washer and dryer in the apartment. There is a TV and high speed internet/wireless.
The East River Ferry to Manhattan, DUMBO, and LIC leaves from our doorstep. Subway lines in the area are the G, L, J, M, Z. Manhattan destinations can also be reached by walking or bicycling over the Williamsburg Bridge.
JAN 2019 NEWS FLASH: L train to Manhattan will continue to run through period of repairs. MTA has revised its original plan to shut down this line for several months.
Williamsburg is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in NYC/Brooklyn. The neighborhood offers dozens of charming neighborhood restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, bars and clubs. Enjoy the waterfront parks and walkways, and explore nearby, leafy, bohemian Greenpoint. Amazons new Long Island City HQ is a 2.5 mile bicycle ride away. There is a Citibike rack and an excellent bike store on our block.
Convenient shopping and services in the close vicinity include Whole Foods on Bedford Avenue, the wonderful McNally Jackson bookshore, incomparably delicious baked goods at Bakeri, multiple pharmacies, dry cleaners, banks, beauty/nail parlors, etc.
We have a sublet available for September and October 2019. Rent includes amenities fee (gym, pool, roofdeck) and WiFi. Subtenant pays utilities.
