Most of the residences are older as they were built before 1940. There is more hustle and bustle here than surrounding areas.

Waldwick is one of those places where respectful and educated people live. In fact, many of them have been called urban sophisticates. But don't let that description fool you. Residents are laidback and carefree when they are not working. So, it might not be pedestrian-friendly. Also, if you are a water lover, less than 1 percent of the area is water. So you might want to visit the beach near the coast if you want to participate in water sports or swimming. But there might be woods right behind your home.
