Hudson, NH is a town in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire that is located right along the Massachusetts state line. The population is around 24,467 and the area has a rich and significant history and lots of historical places that tourists and residents alike come to visit. It occupies about 30 miles on the map and originally had two town centers, which are still both hubs of shopping, dining and entertainment. There are also a couple of recreational lakes that many residents take advantage of for boating, fishing and ice skating.

Neighborhoods

Hudson is right on the banks of the Merrimack River and offers tons of lush, open spaces and recreational opportunities including two golf courses, hiking trails and walking paths and a number of sports fields and facilities. Here's a little info about the different neighborhoods in Hudson.

Hudson Village: This area is located on the Merrimack River near the junctions of Routes 3A, 111 and 102 and is home to most of the municipal buildings in town, like the Town Hall and the Hills Memorial Library.

Hudson Center: This was the "historical" center of Hudson back in the town's early days and is located at the 5-way intersection of Central Street, Greeley Street, Kimball Hill Road and Windham Road. Thompson's Market is now home to a popular sandwich shop and there's a picturesque Revolutionary War-era cemetery located nearby as well.

Living in Hudson

Spend a day over at Robinson Pond Park and have a barbecue. You can swim at the pond, but be sure to watch out for the markers so you don't swim out too far! There's also a skate park, which is open every day from April to November. Merrifield Park is a little more traditional and offers some walking trails.
