Of course if you'd rather be wearing high heels on a big city street, this may not be your spot. if you like nature close to your home, you'll love this. And if it's not just green space you're after but _going _green? Then check out the self-service recycling center in McAlpine Creek Park.

You'll also find the smaller Mason Wallace Park here in this community, along with the emerald green of the links at Pine Lake Country Club. Tennis, golf, swim, dine -- you can have it all in this natural ambiance. Another option: take a stroll around Pine Swamp Creek. Watch birds and butterflies, or pitch a few stones in the water. And you won't be far from the beauty of Blue Ridge Parkway. Now there's a spot for a beautiful Sunday drive!
