Did you know that this town is the origin of the now ubiquitous Concord grape made famous by juice maker Welch's? Welch's was the first to bottle the little fruit, in its unfermented form, and still has an office in Concord.
West Concord is an unincorporated village in the historic town of Concord. This vibrant village has everything residents are looking for in a small town. There are independently-owned shops and restaurants in the village center, a library, a hospital, playgrounds, a local pond and a commuter rail station for zippy access to nearby areas. There were just over 6,000 people living in the village as of the 2010 census, and at just over three and half square miles, the village is considered very suburban. See more
Studio apartments could offer the best of West Concord living at a less expensive price tag than larger units. Look for the best buildings near entertainment, dining, and public transportation or highway access.
Ask about the square footage of studio apartments in West Concord during your tour. Even a little extra space in another building can offer more room for storage or an additional chair. Consider the layout and what you can accomplish before you sign. You should have enough room for your bed, a small sitting area, and a dining table. You can always get creative and loft your bed to save on space underneath or install a fold-down table or desk that tucks away.
