Hello! My boyfriend and I currently have a lease on the top (4th) floor unit within 1616 Massachusetts Ave apartment building, directly across the street from Harvard Law school. We are looking for someone to sublet our lease through 08/31/2021, with the opportunity to re-sign. We are very flexible with dates, so we are looking for someone to take over this lease anytime after November 1 2020 (we are very flexible on moving dates, so if you are looking at dates earlier/later than this, please dont hesitate to reach out and we will see if we can accommodate).
Trash/recycling and water are included within rent. Gas + electric are separate and is typically ~$50 a month for the two of us. Our building is pet friendly, up to 2 dogs/cats per unit (additional $25 pet fee per pet). We have fairly new stainless steel, full size appliances that work great! There are two large closets for plenty of storage in the entryway and outside the bathroom. The unit is completely hardwood. There are 4x washers and 6x dryers in the basement and they use a bluetooth app to pay and use, which is great because no quarters!
Theres a parking lot directly in the back with lots available to rent through Chestnut realty. Last time I checked they were $250/mo but there are cheaper alternatives and plenty of street parking for residents around the area. The unit is less than a 10 minute walk to the Harvard Square red line stop and a wide range of bus stops.
