Bayou Blue is a little town in southeast Louisiana with a population of 12,352 people. It covers 23 square miles on the map and, though it's pretty far inland, some of that is water. The area has a rich and interesting history that blends many different cultures together. A number of highways run nearby Bayou Blue, so it's easy to get to the nearby cities of Thibodaux and New Orleans. It's pretty sparsely populated and served by the Houma-Terrebonne Airport, about 20 miles southeast of the city. It's near Hackberry Bay and Little Lake. See more
