This rental is for a period of 2 months, based on when you want to begin- owner is flexible about start and possibly end date. Rental can begin any time after January 15, 2019.

For an additional amount, there is an in-law apartment at the garden level- with a small bedroom, full bath and a generous living room with a large work area and basic food preparation area. Please ask if you would like more information.

Please note: This is not appropriate for children, but great for a couple or 2 individuals coming to Cambridge for this period of time. Our home is an easy walk to Harvard, Kendall or Central Squares. We are steps away from buses, bicycles, subway, including free transportation to the medical areas, between 2 Whole Foods, shopping- you name it. If this works for you, please read on- as this is a quiet, comfortable home steps away from all. This rental includes off-street parking for 2 cars- which in this area makes this rental perfect!

This is a great place for a responsible, reliable couple or 2 individuals (unless you want to rent the additional in-law space) coming to Cambridge/Boston area to enjoy all that the area offers. Perfect for anyone visiting local universities or relocation from another city.

This is our single-family home, the BEST location and steps away from the best cafe around. You can walk to Harvard and MIT and are close to subways, BlueBike rental, buses to just about anywhere in the New England area. We also offer off-street parking- a true rarity in this area. The home is tastefully furnished and decorated by the owner/designer- with beautiful art work, hardwood floors, eat-in kitchen/dining, TV, music, etc. This is a perfect location, yet tucked away in a quiet owner-occupied private street.

The house is fully supplied with all you need for your stay, including linens- you need only bring your clothes!

The first floor is large and spacious, with lots of windows, beautiful colors, art work all around. TV, radio and music. Kitchen has hardwood cherry cabinets, new dishwasher, appliances, etc. The dining room easily seats 6. There is a half-bath as well. Art work, books, antiques and crafts from around the world decorate our home. And of course, WIFI.

The upstairs has 2 light-filled bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the smaller bedroom has a loft twin bed. Both rooms have skylights. The bathroom is large with a shower and jacouzzi tub

Off-street parking (think- no tickets in Cambridge and you can walk to everything), friendly and safe neighborhood of owner occupied homes. A short walk to Harvard Square, as well as Inman and Central Squares. Very accessible to buses and a short walk to the Red Line subway, which will take you all over the region, including beaches! Lots of restaurants, 2 Whole Foods, etc.

This rental is for the period of 2 months, with some flexibility. A utility and cleaning deposit is required, utilities (electric, water, internet, gas) not included- this all depends on usage and is hard to predict in advance, to be returned within one month after rental period is finished. Fees are paid upfront.
