Spread over 20,000 square feet, this property sleeps 14 guests and boasts incredible outdoor spaces, including a pool, so you’ll be prepared for your tee time at the nearby oceanside country club should you choose to become a member or already know one. Privacy is ensured at Kahala Lani thanks to its location in the upscale neighborhood of Kahala on the sunny south shore of O’ahu, and the gated rock wall surrounding a majority of the property.

The phenomenal outdoor space at Kahala Lani begins in the driveway, where large paver stones are laid atop the grassy front lawn, while the tropical plants and trees that border the space are a reminder that you have arrived in paradise. Off to the right of the yard you’ll find the dramatic entrance to the home. The lush tropical foliage behind the home ensures a private oasis, where you can splash in the pool or sunbathe in the poolside lounge chairs worry-free. Ample outdoor seating is provided for dining or lounging under the shade of the covered lanai, where you can devour a meal hot off the grill.

The vast front entry room, with its vaulted ceilings, Balinese-inspired decor, and comfortable seating area, immediately instills a feeling of tranquility. Tucked into the corner of the great room is the game area, with a pool table that converts into a ping pong table, lots of seating for spectators, and access to the outdoors. A large dining table that seats 10 sits in front of a pair of glass sliders, through which you have views of the spectacular backyard and pool and can access the covered lanai. The plush sectional in the living room makes the space feel cozy, and the breakfast nook set before large windows provides a bit of separation from the modern kitchen. The island in the kitchen provides yet another option for dining, and is surrounded by stainless steel appliances, sleek cabinets, and large windows over the sink and cooktop that allow natural light to pour in.

The king-size canopy bed in the primary bedroom is flanked by glass sliders on either side of the room, with views of the pool just beyond your doors. A sectional just outside the en suite is an ideal spot to relax as you watch your friends and family enjoy the pool, or to make use of the flatscreen TV. The luxurious en suite consists of dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a large walk-in shower, where you can gaze out at the greenery through the two sizable windows located there. The four guest bedrooms have beds ranging in size from a twin to a king. All of the remaining bathrooms are well-appointed and have beautifully tiled showers.The home also includes a laundry room where two stacked washer/dryer units and a full-size fridge/freezer combo are all available for your use.

The nearby Waialae Country Club, should you choose to become a member, is a great place to spend the morning polishing your golf game. Waialae Beach Park and Kahala Beach are just a short stroll away, making getting to the ocean more effortless than you ever imagined. Popular hikes like Kuliouou Ridge Trail and Diamond Head Crater are nearby and ready to be explored. Visit the nearby Kahala Hotel’s Dolphin Quest where you can get up close and personal with the resort’s playful dolphins, or the Kahala Spa to enjoy a luxurious massage. You’ll find numerous dining options at Kahala Mall, including Whole Foods where you can buy hot meals or groceries during your stay.
