The settlement got its start around 1950, and for a long time, it was considered a northern neighborhood of Littlerock. The two towns had heated exchanges over their exact borders up until 2007, when tempers finally cooled and the town councils compromised, which means all you have to do is enjoy the warm, dry desert sunshine.
