Fortuna is a town of just under 12,000 people. With an area of about five square miles total, Fortuna is right up against the Pacific Ocean, with beautiful, natural forests stretching out all around it. Positioned on the wet side of the Rocky Mountains, the area receives a lot of rain and has a much cooler temperature than most of California.
