A lot of famous people came from Fairfield. At some point in their lives, Fairfield was home to Willie Mays, George Lindsey, Cleveland Eaton, Dennis Edwards, Spider Martin and Red Cochran!
Fairfield, AL is one of Birmingham's most booming suburbs. Founded in 1910, the town was originally called Corey (Corey was the name of a famous executive of the U.S. Steel Corporation).
