As a Sr. Director of Sales Operations at Apartment List, you will lead our post-sales account management team, build strategic sales expansion plans to accelerate growth, drive sales enablement and client success initiatives, own sales compensation, and operate as one of the top thought and execution leaders in the sales organization. Our business is dependent on a highly productive sales team, happy clients, and constant innovation around sales and market growth. What You'll Do

  • Partner with and report to the Chief Sales Officer to grow and evolve our overall sales organization.
  • Manage our account management team of approximately 10 professionals driving maximum performance in new account activations, client success, and retention.
  • Own and drive improvement around all sales and account management KPI’s.
  • Own sales forecasting and planning .
  • Design and implement a sales compensation structure that awards high performance and aligns incentives of the sales team with the strategic goals of Apartment List.
  • Master deep understanding of our databases in order to own all analytics and reporting for sales, account management, or client requests.
  • Identify and build or improve key sales and account management processes to ensure efficiency and high performance across teams that scales over time.
  • Own Salesforce administration

Ideally You Have

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in a leadership role within a sales operations department
  • Advanced computer skills including Excel, Powerpoint and Google products
  • 2-3 years of Salesforce experience as admin-user
  • 2-3 years experience as a people manager, ideally in the function of sales operations or account management
  • Positive attitude and a real passion for this opportunity and being part of a fast growth business
