What to Know about Estero
While renters make up only 10.44 percent of the population in Estero, there is a 39 percent vacancy rate! This means there is a lot of opportunity to find apartments to rent! The median home cost, at $211,900, is a little higher than the national median. There are many homes, apartments and condo units available, so keep an open mind, and you’ll be able to find pretty much anything you’re looking for.
Be sure to bring along all the necessary paperwork. You’ll need your ID, credit history, proof of employment and any other items your landlord or broker may have requested. Be sure to check with them beforehand to make sure you don’t show up without the right stuff! It will save you time and energy in the long run. Although, with the high vacancy rate, there’s a good chance that realtors will be barking up your tree rather than the other way around. Still, it never hurts to make a good impression, so be sure to show up on time and have a happy, optimistic attitude about your search.
