Conneaut is a city tucked into the most northeastern point of Ohio. It sits along Lake Erie at the mouth of the Conneaut Creek, which is the number one place to find steelhead trout in the whole country. It has a rich history and is home to both urban areas and rural farmland. There are quiet areas as well as more populated spots near Main Street, and there is, of course, the long and beautiful stretch of coastline where people flock to all summer long. Conneaut tends to draw in a lot of tourists in the summertime.

Living in Conneaut
If you love water and lots of activities combined with peaceful living, you can't go wrong choosing Conneaut as your spot to live. There are also beautiful wineries nearby, such as Biscotti's Family Wintery and Buccia Vineyard, and a number of great golf courses (Windy Hill Golf Course is one option) for those who like to tee up now and then. The winters on the water can be cold and windy, but if you bundle up, you can take advantage of the ice fishing that goes on all winter long. The seven miles of shoreline along Lake Erie include a number of beautiful beaches where you can sun yourself after a long winter and head out on a boat ride if you choose.
