North Bellport is an unincorporated hamlet in the town of Brookhaven with a reputation for the mysterious. About 11,545 people reside in this 4.9 square mile area. New plans are underway to overhaul its real estate to better serve the residential community. As far as hamlets go, North Bellport is in the best location it can be. It stands to benefit greatly as the "little nook" within a large town, near influential cities for residents to pursue all their dreams. As a result of its proximal position, it also risks losing its identity, becoming one of the "forgottens" within the greater community. Ask about the stipulations around the parking. Those may include how many guests are allowed and where tenants park.
Some apartments may only allow parking in front of your own unit. Guest parking may be in a common area for up to one person.
If parking is scarce, look around the area before you sign a lease. Ample street parking in a neighborhood championed for its safety is probably fine. However, it’s probably not worth signing a lease if it means battling for daily parking for you and your guests.
