From that time until 2005, citizens worked tirelessly to build a cool and exciting beach town for people to visit. Unfortunately, the city was dealt a hard blow with hurricane Katrina in August of 2005. However, since then, the citizens of D'Iberville have worked hard to rebuild and revitalize their community, reestablishing beautiful neighborhoods and an awesome retail district.
