Garden City Neighborhoods
At just 5.5 square miles, this is a small city that doesn't cover a lot of ground, but where you live can make an enormous difference. In the north and west parts of the city, there are extensive woodlands with golf courses, such as the Indian Bay Golf Club and the Tupelo bay Golf Club, while the southeastern part of the city is all about beach front and golden sands. The city center and most commercial part is focused around the WalmartSupercenter complex, just north of Highway 17.
Garden CityCenter: The city center area straddles 17. It is dominated by the Wal-MartSupercenter, but housing of all types can be found on both sides of 17, interspersed by restaurants, bars, stores and pizza places.
Salters Cove: This neighborhood is south and east of 17, and only minutes away from the beach to the south, or the main amenities in the city center to the west. It features a mix of patio and raised homes, townhouses and condos.
Woodlake Village: This community is located within one and a half miles of the beach, just northeast of the city center with all its amenities and conveniences. This is a quieter, more relaxed neighborhood.
Garden CityBeach: This neighborhood is dominated by the beach and shoreline, of course, but also by Garden City Pier. This magnificent structure stretches out into the ocean for almost 700 feet, and is enjoyed by people of all ages year round.

Living in Garden City
Garden City is an exciting mixture of peace and quiet, fun and excitement. The north-eastern part of the city has golf courses, woodland areas and quieter communities. But even there you are just a couple of miles at most from the hustle and bustle of the beach and the famous Garden City pier.
